<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Before you dive into that delicious Thanksgiving feast, hit the streets for a fantastic 2 or 5-mile run! </strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Starting at the iconic Blue Cross Arena, you&#39;ll dash through downtown Rochester on an out-and-back course that&#39;s famously flat, fabulously fast, and fun for every member of the family. Cruise towards the University of Rochester campus and zoom back to glory! We&#39;ve got awesome prizes for our speediest overall champs, top master runners, and age group stars! Are you unable to make it to the race but still want to be part of the fun? Register for the virtual option and we&#39;ll send you a race shirt.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Members of The Medved Endurance Project receive $5.00 off the entry fee.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Packet pickup</strong> will be at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, and Wednesday, November 26th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.  The shop will be featuring race week sales and specials.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">There will be a narrow window of opportunity for Race Day packet pickup at The Blue Cross Arena starting at 7:45 am through 8:30. We STRONGLY suggest that you pick up your packet at Medved on Tuesday or Wednesday to minimize race day lines.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">The Kids 1/2-mile Fun Run will start at 8:30 am. in an out-and-back route from the start line.  </p> <p class="MsoNormal">The 5-mile race will start promptly at 9:00 am.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">The 2-mile will begin very shortly afterward (9:10 am.).</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Here are some frequently asked questions and info that will help you on Race Day:<br /><br /></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><b>THE FEAST FAQs</b></p> <p class="MsoNormal">●<b> Can I still register?</b><br />Yes!  Registration (online ONLY) closes at 8:00 am on Thanksgiving Day.<br />Race Day PPU will be open from 7:45-8:30 am.<br />● <b>What time does the race start?</b></p> <p class="MsoNormal">The 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run will start at 8:30 am.<br />The 5-Mile Race starts at 9:00 am. <br />The 2-Mile Race will start 5 minutes after the final 5-mile participant clears the start line at 9:10 am.<br />Race Announcements will begin at 8:45 am<br />● <b>Can I pick up bib/shirt for someone else?</b><br />Yes<br />● <b>Can I switch my shirt size?<br /></b>Please bring your shirt to race day and we can exchange it with any leftovers after all registrations and PPUs have been completed<br />● <b>Where do I park?</b><br />Court Street garage, Civic Center garage, on-street parking (Broad St, Court St), 168 Exchange lot.<br />● <b>Do you have a course map?</b><br /><a title="The Feast 5 Mile Course" href="https://www.medvedrunwalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Feast-of-Burden-5-Miler.png" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Feast 5-Mile Route</a><br />Feast 2-Mile Route</p> <p class="MsoNormal">● <b>Are there water stops on the course?</b><br />2 Mile - No<br />5 Mile - Yes, at the mid-course turnaround point. Water only: no gu, gels, etc.<br />● <b>Can I run with my dog?</b><br />Due to insurance regulations, dogs are not permitted in the race.<br />● <b>Can I run with my stroller?</b><br />You are welcome to run with your stroller, but we request that you start near the back of the pack<br />● <b>Award Structure</b><br />2-Mile: Prizes will be awarded to 1st Place Overall Female/Male.<br />5-Mile: Prizes will be awarded to Top 3 Overall Female/Male, 1st Masters Female/Male,1st AG Female/Male<br />Awards will begin ~10:15-10:30 am</p>
