Planet Fitness Wichita's OctoberFit 5K is a spooktacular event! The OctoberFit 5K race is PF's way to give back to the community of Wichita by partnering with the local Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas. Proceeds raised through our OctoberFit campaign will help raise money benefiting the youth of BGCSCK and the outstanding programs they provide! START/FINISH LOCATION: 2101 W Sim Park Dr, Wichita. This is one mile west of the Wichita Art Museum along Museum Blvd/West Sim Park Dr at the workout park. Parking is available at 2101 W. Sim Park Dr or the new Botanica parking lot just east of the start/finish line. The race route will take you along the bike path on the north side of the Arkansas River past Cowtown & Keeper of the Plains to Exploration Place and return along the bike path south of the Arkansas River. A short jog across the "red bridge" returns you to the Start/Finish line.
When: Saturday, October 25th, 2025.
Time: Racers can begin to show up at 7:30 am. Race Kicks off at 9:00 am
Costume Contest: 7:45 am to 8:45 am
Early Worm: $35 May 2nd through August 15th
After early worm: $40, August 16th to race day
Costume Contest: Come dressed up in your spookiest attire for our Halloween contest. The costume contest is open to individuals or couples only. The winning individual or couple will receive a $100 gift card. To participate, you must have gone to the judging area by 8:45 a.m. The winner (s) will be announced after the race.
Raffle: The TV People entertainment package
Racers can buy raffle tickets to win an amazing home entertainment package—another way to help give back to the BGCSCK. The package includes a 55" LG Smart TV, a Bose Sound Bar, and a Hue Light system. Tickets can be bought online here, and you can bring your cash on race day and buy more!
Raffle ticket price: One for $5, or Five for $20
All Racers will receive an OctoberFit 5K race t-shirt, a participation medal, and a bag with goodies!
Packet Pickup: Packets will be picked up from Monday, October 20th, to Wednesday, October 22rd, at our Planet Fitness Normandie location, 6592 E. Central Ave, Wichita, KS, 67206.
Packets will also be available for pick up the morning of the race.
