10th Annual Road Home Race Race Information

<p>The Road Home race is a fundraiser for Passageways.  We work with homeless veterans and help them get back on their feet and into a place of their own.  We have hosted a 5K and 1-mile fun run for the last 8 years.  In recent years, we added a 10K, as well.   </p> <p>All races will start and end at the Plum building inside Sedgwick County Park.  This is a USATF-certified race, and the Timer Guys will do the timing.  The routes will be posted closer to the race, as will the schedule for the day.  </p> <p>Passageways Road Home is a very patriotic race with flags lining a good portion of the race route.  We also will have a Presentation of Colors and Singing of the National Anthem before the start of the race.  Your race bib will include a name of a fallen military hero, currently serving military member, or a veteran.  During registration, you will be given the option to list a name you would like on your bib.  </p> <p><strong>Schedule of the DAY:</strong></p> <p><strong>7AM - Registration</strong></p> <p><strong>730:   1 Mile Fun Run Starts</strong></p> <p><strong>7:50: Presentation of Colors and</strong></p> <p><strong>       Singing of the National Anthem</strong></p> <p><strong>8:00 am - 5K Starts</strong></p> <p><strong>8:00 am - 10K Starts</strong></p> <p><strong>Course Maps: </strong></p> <p>1 Mile: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/5913088183/</p> <p>5K: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/5913058876/</p> <p>10K: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/5913059323/</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Packet Pick up will be held on Friday, September 12 from noon to 6:30 pm at the Plum Building in Sedgwick County Park.    </strong></p>
