<p><strong>Fall Cross Country 5K &amp; 1-Mile Fun Run - </strong>Clapp Cross Country Course | Wichita, KS</p> <p>Get ready for a fall racing experience on the official home course of the Wichita State Shockers Cross Country team! Unlike a typical road race, this true cross country event takes you over grass, rolling hills, and open fields, challenging both your endurance and racing strategy.</p> <p><strong>Test Your Fitness, Compete with Friends and Co-workers!</strong></p> <p>Gauge your fitness and compete against fellow runners, clubs, and corporate teams in a fun yet competitive atmosphere. Whether you&#39;re a seasoned racer or a weekend warrior, this race offers an exciting challenge for all levels.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Awards &amp; Team Competitions -5K</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Individual Awards:</strong> Top 3 finishers in each Men&#39;s and Women&#39;s age group, plus the top overall male and female winners.</p> <p><strong>Team Challenge:</strong> Form a team of family members, friends, co-workers, or club members and race for the fastest team average time! (A maximum of 7 entrants is allowed per team, but the average time of the top 5 finishers counts. </p> <p>There are THREE team divisions:</p> <ol><li>Male</li><li>Female</li><li>Co-ed / Mixed - Any combination of male and female athletes are allowed in this category. One of the scoring members must be a member of the opposite sex.</li></ol> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Awards - 1 Mile</strong></span></p> <p>Awards will go out to the top 3 male and female finishers overall.</p> <p>All finishers of the 1 Mile Run will receive a finishers medal.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Breathe in Fresh Air &amp; Embrace the Challenge </strong></span></p> <p>Feel the energy of running on a collegiate championship course and experience the thrill of off-road racing on Wichita’s best cross country venue.
