<p>Welcome to the 2nd annual Kickin&#39; 4 Kellan 6.20K Family Fun Run, which is an annual event celebrating the life of Kellan Moran, who died from cancer at the young age of 6.  Kellan&#39;s birthday is June 20th, so this is why the run is a 6.20 K, which equates to less than 4 full laps around Pratt Park.  Participants can walk, run, and go whatever distance they can in memory of Kellan.</p> <p>Kellan loved his family. He had a zest for life and never met a stranger! He smiled often and had a contagious laugh. He enjoyed all things<br />outdoorsy, but his favorite was being near the water at the pool or beach. He had a huge love for all things swords and a good sword fight, especially with his Pop Pop!  Besides his amazing smile, personality, and fearlessness, you were always greeted with a thumbs up, even on the worst of days during his 13 month battle. His daily strength, bravery, and courage is truly astounding! </p> <p>We hope you can join us to honor his brief life and celebrate his 11th Birthday, with a bright smile and a thumbs up, just as he always displayed! Runner/walkers of all ages are welcome.  Family fun activities available throughout the event.  All proceeds go to support Fairy Godmother Project, whose mission is to ease the day-to-day burden for families facing all phases of a pediatric cancer diagnosis.  </p>
