Whether you&#39;re sprinting like you&#39;re stealing home or jogging to enjoy the sights, this race is a celebration of community, baseball, and giving back.</p> <p style="line-height:1"> </p> <p style="line-height:1"><strong>⚾ Course Highlights:</strong></p> <ul><li style="line-height:1">Start at the &#34;First Base Line,&#34; near Virginia Credit Union Stadium, where Gus himself will send you off with his signature high-fives.</li><li style="line-height:1">Wind through the scenic streets of Fredericksburg, passing stations decked out in red, white and blue—just like Gus’s favorite gear.</li><li style="line-height:1">Cross the &#34;Home Plate Finish Line&#34; on the field at Virginia Credit Union Stadium, with cheering fans in the stands and music pumping through the speakers!</li></ul> <p style="line-height:1"><strong>&#x1f4a5; Race-Day Features:</strong></p> <ul><li style="line-height:1">Mascot Madness: Join Gus and his mascot pals for a pre-race warmup and photo ops.</li><li style="line-height:1">Team Spirit Stops: Volunteers in FredNats jerseys will keep you motivated with water, cheers and baseball-themed surprises along the course.</li><li style="line-height:1">Post-Race Celebration: After the race, enjoy ballpark snacks, games and a Gus-themed medal ceremony.</li></ul> <p style="line-height:1"><strong>&#x1f49c;Supporting the Community:</strong></p> <p style="line-height:1"><br />Proceeds from the Gus Dash 5K benefit the Fredericksburg Nationals Foundation, supporting local youth programs, education initiatives and community outreach.
