As a multicultural, multi-service organization with local, national, and international reach, we help refugees and immigrants rebuild their lives, achieve self-sufficiency, and thrive as active members of their communities. Join us for our annual 5K Run for Refugees, a community event supporting our mission to provide hope, assistance, and opportunity for refugees and other displaced people.</p> <p><span style="background-color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 )"><span style="color:rgb( 22 , 145 , 121 )"><strong>Entry Fee:</strong></span> </span><strong>$40</strong> Early Bird through July 31, <strong>$50</strong> Regular August 1 - September 13, <strong>$75</strong> Late Registration September 14 - 23. (Fee includes t-shirts).</p> <p><strong>8:00AM</strong> - Race Day Packet Pickup</p> <p><strong>9:00AM</strong> - 5K Run</p> <p><strong>9:45AM</strong> - Kids&#39; Kilometer (Free)</p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 22 , 145 , 121 )"><strong>Directions: </strong></span>From Route 50, turn north to the end of Manchester Street. Turn right onto free parking. If parking is full, park at Bluemont Park North Shelter or Ashlawn School</p> <p><strong><span style="color:rgb( 22 , 145 , 121 )">Course: </span></strong>Paved park trails, one hill, no road crossings. OK for walkers and wheelchairs</p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 22 , 145 , 121 )"><strong>Post-race Social: </strong></span>In the picnic shelter about 100 meters from the start / finish next to the restrooms. Join fellow runners and community members for refreshments and entertainment.</p>
