2025 Great North Run & Fitness Fair Race Information

<p><span style="color:#000000">Join us on Saturday, March 8th at 9:00am for the <b>2025 </b><b>Great North Run &amp; Fitness Fair!</b> Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a power walker, or just looking for a fun, family-friendly community activity, this event is for you!<br /><br /></span><span style="color:#000000">Participants of all ages and abilities can choose between the <b>5k or 1k Family Fun Run.</b> And once you cross the finish line, make sure to stick around as North Central High School comes to life with dozens of area vendors and free, interactive activities for the whole family! We hope to see you at the starting line on March 8th!<br /><br /></span><span style="color:#000000"></span><span style="color:#e03e2d"><u><b>Start Times</b></u></span><br /><span style="color:#000000">--- 5k - 9:00am (Option to be timed)</span><br /><span style="color:#000000">--- Fun Run - 9:15am (Untimed Only) The Family Fun Run is a 1K (10 minute walk–5-7 minute run) that begins and ends next to North Central and has interactive, family-friendly, and F-U-N stations along the way!<br /><br /></span><span style="color:#000000"></span><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 );text-decoration:underline">New this year: Costume Contest</span></span></strong></p> <p>Dress up for a chance to win prizes for the best costumes! Upon arrival, check in at The Sanctuary tent outside of Door 24 to enter the costume contest.
