WW Military Miles 5k, 10k and Half Marathon Race Information

<p>Come join us and support our Military in our 18th Annual WW Military Miles 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon in Keller Texas. It starts and finishes in front of Keller City Hall Building.  The event benefits two charities: Fisher House Foundation and  WWP.  The “Happenings” begin at 6:45am with the Half Marathon corral followed by the 10K and then the 5K. Half Marathon need to be lined up by 6:30am, 10K by 6:45am,  and 5K 7:00am. The different starting times allow us to keep you safe and spread out during the race. All runners will be timed and there will be awards in each age group.<br /> Each participant will receive a Commemorative t-shirt, world famous DAR race socks, and FINISHERS MEDAL. </p> <p><b>START TIMES:</b><br />6:45am Half Marathon<br />7:00am 10K<br />7:15am 5K</p> <p> </p> <p><b>PACKET PICK UP SCHEDULE: <br /></b>2-6pm Wednesday June 3, 2026<br />Bike Mart<br />1451 W Campbell Rd<br />Richardson, TX 75080</p> <p>2-6pm Thursday June 4, 2026<br />TBD</p> <p>12-4pm Saturday June 6, 2026<br />Bear Creek Running Co.<br />121 Rufe Snow Dr STE 103<br />Keller, TX 76248</p> <p>Anyone can pick up your packet.<br />Maximum 5 packets per pick up.<br />Preregister on your personal device before arriving at Packet Pick.</p> <p><br />Changing distances is not offered at Race Day Packet Pick Up</p> <p><br />Race Day Packet Pick Up Schedule:<br />5:30-6:30am- Half Marathon<br />5:30-6:45am- 10K<br />5:30am-7:00am- 5K</p> <p>Dallas Athletes has a no refund or transfer policy as shown on the website. </p> <p><b>AWARDS </b>- Overall and Age Group awards will be set out and ready for pick up on race day. You can pick up your award once the timer updates and finalizes 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon results.  You do not have to wait for an award ceremony. </p> <p><b>HOTEL:</b> Stay at the Hampton Inn hotel and walk to the race site on race morning. Great rate!</p> <p><b>VIRTUAL OPTION:</b><br />Can&#39;t make the event then join us virtually. Do the 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon at your own pace and time. Post your results on our WW Military Miles website and pictures on the Facebook page. Each virtual runner will receive a race shirt, finisher&#39;s medal, socks, and race bib. Packages will be sent out right after June 13th. (We shipped to addresses in the continental US)</p> <p><b>WEATHER POLICY</b></p> <p>In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.</p> <p>If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director. </p> <p>We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. </p> <p>Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.</p> <p>Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions. </p> <p>Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.</p> <p> </p>
