Monster Triathlon Race Information

<p>Rather than end the multi-sport season with a bang, these athletes end their season with a SCREAM! </p> <p>Monster Triathlon 2026 marks year 21 and will sell-out early with over 700 athletes! The distances are FAST for the experienced athletes and just right for the beginner.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Swim has 50 meter lanes that are 9 ft wide, the bike is a two ( NEW ) or three loop course, and the run takes place on the beautiful Keller trails. The total distances are the following:</p> <p>NEW SUPER SPRINT OPTION: TWO LOOP BIKE<br />Swim: 300 Meters<br />Bike: 10 Miles<br />Run: 5K</p> <p>SPRINT OPTION: THREE LOOP BIKE<br />Swim: 300 Meters<br />Bike: 14.5 Miles<br />Run: 5K</p> <p> </p> <p>Each event is a little different at the finish line. Some have live bands, but ALL of the events are filled with energy and WONDERFUL costumes which are ENCOURAGED! This is a great race to end your triathlon season!</p> <p> </p> <p><b>WEATHER POLICY</b></p> <p>In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.</p> <p>If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director. </p> <p>We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. </p> <p>Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.</p> <p>Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions. </p> <p>Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.</p>
