<p>Runners, walkers, and nature enthusiasts! You are invited to enjoy the beauty of fall on the trails at <b>Woldumar Nature Center.</b></p> <p>Join us on Sunday, November 1st for the 18th Annual Woldumar Trail Run presented by Lake Trust Credit Union!</p> <p>The <b>Woldumar Nature Association</b> is a Lansing, MI based nonprofit that engages over 7,000 students in outdoor education each year. You&#39;ll enjoy the beauty of our prairie, pine forest, wetlands, and hardwood forest as you run along the Grand River on over 180 acres protected by the Association.</p> <p>Not only is this the perfect fall run on a beautiful course, but <i>most importantly</i> your participation supports quality science education that instills passion for the natural world in young people throughout the Greater Lansing Area. Your support furthers our mission: &#34;To educate people about the natural environment.&#34;</p> <p><b>IMPORTANT DETAILS:</b></p> <ul><li>To streamline the event day, <b>pre-registration is required. There will not be a race-day registration option.</b></li><li>The course has varied natural running surfaces (no pavement) so we encourage you to run cautiously.</li><li>Refreshments are provided after the race.</li><li>Children&#39;s activities are offered during and after the 5K event.</li><li>Pets are not allowed on the course during the in-person event, but are welcome on the trails during other times while the course is up.</li><li>Participants may walk with strollers, but should be prepared for a rugged and varied terrain.</li><li>Long-sleeve shirts are included with registration.  Additional shirts may be purchased for $20 at the race while supplies last.
