<p>Join <strong>CASDA </strong>for our <strong>Step Up For Down Syndrome 5k and 1 mile walk</strong>.  CADSA  works to enhance the lives of people living with Down syndrome so they can reach their full potential and be valued members of our community. After the race join us for our fun filled family day. The family day will start at 10am until Noon. We&#39;ll have kid friendly events such as face painting, bounce houses, foam party, music and food! Join us for a fun filled morning - ALL are welcome at this event! </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>South Church, 5250 Cornerstone Dr, Lansing, MI 48917 </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>5k Run/Walk Pricing: </strong>$30 until 9/14 and then $35 to 9/19.  $40 race day.  Be sure to register early for a great discount and to be guaranteed a race t-shirt. The 5k run/walk is a timed event.  </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>1 Mile Walk:</strong> $10 until 9/14, $15 the week prior to the event, $20 race day. $30 capped family pricing for 3 or more people until 9/14. $45 capped pricing for 3 or more people from 9/15 to 9/20. The 1 mile is a non-timed event. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>5k Run/Walk Awards:</strong> TBD - <em>Tentative structure: Overall Male and Female Awards. Awards to top three in male and female age groups 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&#43;   </em></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Packet Pick-up</strong> will begin at 8:00 am day of the race</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Schedule: </strong>5k Run/Walk will start at 9:00 am. 1 Mile Walk will start at 9:15 am. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Course:  </strong>Course map is located at the top of the page (<em>or in the side menu if viewing on a mobile device</em>)</p> <p> </p> <p>The race will be professionally timed by the <span style="color:rgb( 4 , 9 , 122 )"><strong>Michigan Running Foundation</strong></span>.
