<h3><strong>North Carolina - Main Event</strong></h3> <p>The Lung Run is more than a run — it’s a movement to a brighter future and way for you to get out and get active with family and friends. This endurance event brings together runners, walkers, and supporters to raise awareness for adults living with cystic fibrosis. Every mile reflects the grit it takes to breathe through life with CF — and every step pushes forward the fight for better care, family-building support, and a life without limits. The main hub for The Lung Run will be in Cary, North Carolina, with separate &#39;satellite&#39; locations in Detroit and Illinois.</p> <p><strong>For the North Carolina Flagship Event</strong>, <strong>p</strong><strong>articipants get rewarded with swag for the more bonus laps they complete and can show up any time between 9AM and 12PM on December 14th.</strong></p> <ul><li><strong>Register and get a free shirt &amp; beer (Age 21&#43;)</strong></li><li><strong>Complete 1 Bonus Laps (5k&#43;) for a custom patch</strong></li><li><strong>Complete 3 Bonus Laps and receive a custom pair of socks</strong></li><li><strong>Complete 5 Bonus Laps and receive a custom hat</strong></li></ul> <p>The North Carolina Flagship event course is setup around Wake Med Soccer Park with the start and finish leaving from Fenton in Cary. The &#39;satellite&#39; locations are based in the city listed, with more details below. Whether you’re looking to get a solid run in or showing up in solidarity, your effort fuels real change. Join us for a day of community, resilience, and the long run toward a future where no one with CF is left behind.</p> <p> </p> <h3><strong>Detroit - Group Run Event</strong></h3> <p>The Lung Run - Detroit will be led by the Rock CF Foundation team in partnership with RUNdetroit. <strong>Runners will partake in a group run beginning at 10AM on December 14th</strong> down the Dequinder Cut, through downtown&#39;s iconic holiday decorations, and back through Eastern Market.</p> <p>Participants are encouraged to join us with some holiday spirit by sporting their fav &#39;ugly&#39; holiday sweater for the run! We will have hot chocolate and coffee available afterwards for runners. <strong>This group run is free to attend and the team will have The Lung Run merchandise on-site for purchase</strong>. Your support reflects the importance of The Lung Run&#39;s mission whether you choose to do a jog at the park, run for a personal best, or a walk from home. All participants of the Virtual Lung Run will receive a commemorative shirt and patch. <em>Price reflects the inclusion of shipping.</em></p>
