<p><span style="color:#000000">Welcome to the 11th Annual Bernalillo County Sugar Skull Fun Run!</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Get ready to walk, jog, strut and stroll at this year’s Sugar Skull Fun Run, taking place on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025. </span></p> <p> </p> <h5><b><span style="color:#e67e23">LOCATION: </span></b></h5> <p><span style="color:#000000">Along the scenic Tingley Drive between Central Ave and 8th Street.</span></p> <p> </p> <h5><b><span style="color:#e67e23">PARKING:</span></b></h5> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Parking is VERY limited and carpool/rideshare is highly encouraged. </span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Free parking will be located at the ABQ BioPark Aquarium (2601 Central Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104). Approximately a 7 minute walk to start line. </span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Additional parking is offered at the Monte Carlo Steakhouse (3916 Central Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105). Approximately an 11 minute walk to start line. </span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Complimentary shuttle service to the race venue will be available at both parking locations. The shuttle service will be available from 6:45am – Noon.</span></p> <h5> </h5> <h5><b><span style="color:#e67e23">RACE DETAILS: </span></b></h5> <p><span style="color:#000000">Participants can select from a timed 5K event for runners and walkers and an untimed one-mile strut and stroll for strollers and pets. Whether you are walking, jogging or running your way to the finish line, we look forward to cheering you on in your Día de los Muertos attire! </span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Children ages five years and younger may participate for FREE - no registration required. Race shirts for this category will be available for purchase during registration until Sept. 19.</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Participants who register after Sept. 19 will not be guaranteed preferred shirt size. <em>Race shirts run large. Exchanges will not be available. </em></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Pets are welcome for the one-mile strut and stroll.</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Food trucks and the Muerto Market are open to the public.</span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">This is a rain or shine event.
