Riverside V Race Information

<p><strong>Location:</strong><br />Riverfront: Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway, Shreveport, Louisiana<br /><strong><br />Race Events:</strong><br />The 5K Run, 5K Walk &amp; the 5 Mile Road Race are on a well-lit and mostly flat course. There will be no vehicular traffic. These races are sanctioned by the Red River Road Runners and the RRCA.</p> <p><strong>Packet Pick-up:<br /></strong>Packet pick up at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue in Shreveport on Thursday, November 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday, November 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Late packet pick up will be from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Riverview Hall 600 Clyde Fant Parkway, Shreveport. Late Registration will <b>NOT</b> be accepted day of the race.</p> <p><strong>Fees</strong>:<br />5 Mile Road Race and 5K Run &amp; 5K Walk<br />$30.00 present day to November 8th</p> <p><strong>Packet:</strong><br />Includes a unisex Brooks short sleeve t-shirt, race number, and a food/beverage coupon. Shirts will be guaranteed to those registered by <span style="color:rgb( 224 , 45 , 45 )">October 29th</span> and must be picked up as packets will not be mailed.<br /><strong><br />Schedule of Events:</strong><br />4:30 pm ·········· Buses start running<br />5:00 pm ·········· Late Packet Pick-up &#64; Riverview Hall</p> <p>5:40 pm ·········· LAST BUS!</p> <p><strong>6:00 pm ·········· Race Time!!  Don&#39;t be late </strong><br />6:30 pm ·········· Post Party Begins<br />Music by Kevin Thomas, dinner and beverages.<br /><br /><strong>5 Mile Road Race</strong><br />Open Overall Male/Female ($250), Masters Male/Female: (40 and over) - 1st &amp; 2nd, Grand Masters Male/Female: (50 and over) - 1st &amp; 2nd, Senior Grand Masters Male/Female (60 and over) - 1st &amp; 2nd, Legends Male/Female (70 and over) - 1st &amp; 2nd<br />Age Group Male/Female:14 &amp; under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up.<br />1st and 2nd in each age group will receive awards. No duplicate awards.<br /><br /><strong>5K Run &amp; 5K Walk</strong><br />Open Overall Male/Female: 1st ($100) &amp; 2nd awards, Master: Male/Female 1st &amp; 2nd<br />Male/Female: 8 &amp; under, 9-10, 11-14 will be awarded 1st-2nd<br />Male/Female: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65 &amp; older will be awarded 1st &amp; 2nd place.<br />Open Male/Female Walkers: 1st &amp; 2nd<br /><br /><strong>Note: No Chip, No Ride, No Time, No Award!</strong><br /><br /><strong>Parking &amp; Hotel Accommodations:</strong><br />The Parkway will be closed for the race. Parking is only at the North end of the Parkway in the lots located Sci-Port. Enjoy food, beverages, music and awards!
