Louisville Pure Tap® 5K Race Information

<p>The Louisville Pure Tap® 5K, presented by the Louisville Water Company, begins and ends at the home of Louisville&#39;s award-winning drinking water, Louisville Water Tower Park, 3005 River Road. The family-friendly Louisville Pure Tap® 5k follows a course that runs east and west on River Road.</p> <p>The race will start at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 23, 2025. It will be professionally chip-timed and all participants will receive a commemorative Louisville Pure Tap® 5K short-sleeved race shirt and custom finishers medal. </p> <p>Again this year, race participants are invited to have their dogs join them. There is an additional $10 fee to register dogs, which you can do as a race add-on. Proceeds support Friends of Louisville Metro Animal Services. Dogs will receive a special bandana to recognize their participation.</p> <p>After you finish the race, be sure to join us for the after-pawty from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Club K9 Dog Park Bar, 9316 Taylorsville Road. Dogs wearing race swag get their owners in free. All dogs must be fixed with proof of rabies, distemper and bordetella.</p>
