Lifeline's R(un) for One 5K Race Information

<p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Started in 2011, the R(un) for One 5K is a family-friendly annual event where Lifeline Children’s Services&#39; alumni families, friends, advocates, and community partners gather to raise awareness and support for vulnerable children around the world.</span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Through Lifeline’s international orphan care ministry, children are being loved, equipped, and encouraged as they enroll in school, learn life skills, and hear the hope of the gospel.</span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">On Saturday, August 23rd, runners from across the country will lace up for this life-changing cause. Whether you join us <strong>in Birmingham, AL;  Rochester Hills, MI</strong> or choose to <strong>Run Where You Are</strong>, your miles matter!</span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )"><strong>In Birmingham</strong>, the race takes place at Dawson Church’s Recreation Center and runs through the streets of Edgewood in Homewood. It’s a fun-filled morning with bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, and activities for the whole family. We can’t wait to see you there!</span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">In <strong>Rochester Hills</strong>, <strong> MI </strong>the race takes place at Bloomer Park! There will be a kids Fun Run as well as a 5k. </span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )"><strong>Prefer to run virtually?</strong> With our <strong>Run Where You Are</strong> option, you can participate from your neighborhood, a local trail, or even a treadmill—wherever you are! Virtual runners receive a race packet in the mail, including a T-shirt, and can run anytime on or before August 23rd.
