BTC Summer Social Run (benefiting Crisis Center, Inc) Race Information

<p>After 10 years of the Crisis Center&#39;s Just a Call Away 5K, we&#39;re doing something new! Join us and the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/birminghamtrackclub" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Birmingham Track Club</a> on <strong>August 16 at Trim Tab Brewery </strong>for a run, post-run social, and a bonus Watermelon Eating Contest! There will be drinks and a food truck, and great opportunities to get to know the BTC and the Crisis Center.</p> <p>This year&#39;s race has distances for everyone, with<strong> the 1-3 mile run beginning at 7AM</strong>, a 5-8 mile course starting at 6:30AM, and a long run for the extra ambitious (10-14 miles!) at 6AM. </p> <p>After running, check out <a href="https://totaljointbham.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Total Joint‘s</a> recovery tent. They offer physical therapy from their locations in Crestwood and Homewood, with a variety of customizable services to meet your individual needs and help you reach your goals.</p> <p>Can&#39;t make it in person? You can still support the Crisis Center and complete a run on your own time!</p>
