<p><strong>Jurassic Jog 5k Run/Walk </strong><br />Sunday, January 18, 2026 - 8:00 a.m.<br /><strong>Location:</strong> Oviedo Mall - Food Court <br />                Oviedo Mall Blvd<br />                Oviedo, FL 32765</p> <p><strong>DAY OF EVENT SCHEDULE</strong><br />7:30 a.m. - Registration &amp; Pre-Registrations Opens<br />8:30 a.m. - 5K Race Start<br />9:30 a.m. - Kids run - 100 meters </p> <p><strong>TEE SHIRTS</strong><br />Shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants. Once a shirt is sold out you will see sold out. Shirts are not guaranteed on race day.</p> <p><strong>DAY OF REGISTRATION &amp; PACKET PICK UP</strong><br />Packet pickup will take place on race day at race site from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.</p> <p><strong>PARKING</strong><br />Parking is plentiful next to the race start location. More info coming soon!</p> <p><strong>AWARDS</strong><br />Medals for top overall male and female, and top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include 10 &amp; under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,70-74,75-79,80-84,85-89, 90&#43; </p> <p><strong>PARKING</strong><br />Parking is plentiful next to the race start location at the Oviedo Mall. The race starts and ends at the same location. </p> <p><strong>TIMING &amp; SCORING</strong><br />Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.</p> <p><strong>How long is the course?</strong><br />The 5K is 3.1 miles.</p> <p><strong>How will I be timed? </strong><br />The race uses an electronic timing system that records race time and place via a transponder chip that will be given out at registration. Each individual competing in the 5K is required to use the race chip. Official times will not be recorded without a chip. There will be a clock at the finish line to view your time.</p> <p><strong>When and where do I pick up my registration materials?</strong><br />coming soon! </p> <p><strong>How will I receive my results?</strong><br />Official results are posted for the top runners in each category online. You can check results by scanning the QR code at race site or visiting the race registration page. Race staff has all results for on-site inquiries and results are posted on the race website.</p> <p><strong>Can I use my own race chip or tag rather than utilizing the one that is provided?</strong><br />No, you will be provided with a custom chip.</p> <p><strong>Who gets a T-shirt?</strong><br />Only pre-registered runners that successfully complete the registration and payment processes seven weekdays before the race are guaranteed a free race t-shirt. Several hundred additional shirts are printed for the race. Pre-registered runners in the seven days leading to the race are first to receive their shirt and preferred size. The remaining shirts for walk-up and voucher runners are available for free until they run out. Also, day-of and voucher participants may face limited sizes and availability.</p> <p><strong>What if I need help along the way?</strong><br />Qualified emergency medical professionals are available to provide assistance at the start/finish lines.</p> <p><strong>Can I participate in the event with my dog?</strong><br />Yes</p> <p><strong>Can I participate with a stroller?</strong><br />Yes, nurturing future generations of runners is a priority and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is special. Please, however, start in the latter part of the runners.</p> <p><strong>Should I bring my own water?</strong><br />Yes, but there will be a  water station on the course as well as at the finish.</p> <p><strong>Can I get my money returned?</strong><br />We appreciate your race registration. We are unable to issue refunds. We are not in a position to credit your credit card or issue checks. During the registration process you were given the option to select yes or no to purchasing insurance for less than $3.50-$4.00 per person.</p> <p><strong>Will the race be held if it&#39;s raining?</strong><br />The race is a &#34;rain or shine&#34; event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, such as in a rain coat or hat. Umbrellas can pose a safety hazard to others, so please do not bring them.</p> <p><strong>What will be provided after the race?</strong><br />An awards ceremony will take place after the race at the start/finish location.</p> <p><strong>Can I transfer my entry to someone else?</strong><br />We have a strict NO TRANSFER policy.</p> <p> </p>
