ACPA Awareness Month Challenge Race Information

<p>During National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness Month, ACPA is challenging you to help spread awareness on behalf of the 1 in 700 children born with cleft each year, and all children born with a craniofacial difference. This year we&#39;re offering two virtual race options.</p> <p><strong>ACPA Awareness Month 60 Mile Challenge</strong></p> <p>Walk or run 60 miles during the month of July. Sign up by July 15 to receive a race t-shirt!</p> <p><strong>ACPA Awareness Month 700 Mile Challenge</strong></p> <p>You&#39;ll have 6 months to complete the 700-mile race, beginning on July 1, 2025, and completing by December 31, 2025. When you sign up by July 15, you&#39;ll receive a race t-shirt! </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">700 Mile Virtual Race Route</span></p> <p>Racers will visit six ACPA Approved Teams along the 700-mile race route. The race will kick-off in St. Louis, MO and will travel all the way to Morgantown, WV. </p> <p>Begin: St. Louis Children’s Hospital Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Institute, St. Louis, MO<br />Stop 1: Riley Hospital for Children Cleft and Craniofacial Anomalies Program, Indianapolis, IN<br />Stop 2: Cincinnati Children&#39;s Hospital Cleft and Craniofacial Center, Cincinnati, OH<br />Stop 3: Nationwide Children&#39;s Hospital Cleft Lip &amp; Palate Center/Center for Complex Craniofacial Disorders, Columbus, OH<br />Stop 4: UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Cleft-Craniofacial Center, Pittsburgh, PA<br />End: WVU Medicine Cleft &amp; Craniofacial Center, Morgantown, WV</p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Live Map Progress Tracking</span></p> <p>You will be able to see your progress along the route as you enter your mileage!  Our live map tracking feature will even allow you to see where your fellow racers are on the map compared to you - now that&#39;s some motivation!</p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Sign up as a Team</span></p> <p>When you participate as a team, individual miles can be logged and added together to reach the 700-mile goal together.</p> <p><strong>The Impact of Your Participation</strong></p> <p>All proceeds from the ACPA Awareness Month Challenges will help provide funding for ACPA programs and services that support patients affected by cleft and craniofacial conditions, their families, and the professionals who provide their care.
