<p><b>Let&#39;s Do This Again! We are excited for our FOURTH annual event! Registration is open now.</b></p> <p>Join us <u>Sunday, October 19th</u> for the FOURTH Annual Abby Furco Memorial Color Fun Run honoring Abby, our beloved friend who passed away too soon along with supporting and loving ALL those affected by childhood cancer.</p> <p>Our color fun run/walk, is a non-bib, approx. 5k course filled with color stations throughout. <span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>You can run, walk, push a stroller...bring your entire family &amp; friends!!</strong></span> Come out and celebrate life while also giving back to foundations that helped Abby, her family and other childhood cancer fighters!! </p> <p>The event is a fundraiser with all proceeds (goal being all entries and donations) to the charities St. Baldrick&#39;s Foundation, EDMARC and Abby&#39;s Legacy Foundation. If you register after that date, we will do our best to have your t-shirt size!</u></p> <p>All race proceeds are will benefit Abby&#39;s Legacy Foundation, St. Baldrick&#39;s Foundation and EDMARC. Donations can be made at registration or also by clicking the Donate button linked above.</p> <p><b>EVENT DETAILS</b></p> <p>Date - Sunday, October 19, 2025</p> <p>Location - Lago Mar Park at Back Bay, 801 Casa Verde Way, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. Start/Finish festival at the park with course through the Lago Mar Neighborhood. <br />Event will take place rain or shine, watch the website, social media (see below) &amp; registered participants will receive email if there is severe weather. </p> <p>PARKING - Please come towards the park area from the Nimmo Pkwy direction. There will be parking signs and people to help direct you. We will park on the “inside” of the course, along Casa Verde, Santa Fe and Valle Rio Way. If you are dropping off, please drop off on Casa Verde Way.</p> <p><b>EVENT TIMELINE</b></p> <p>9am - 9:40am - Runner check-in <br />9:45am - Start line warm-up <br /><u><b>10am - Color fun run start</b></u></p> <p>Festival music, snacks &amp; fun to follow. </p> <p><b>VOLUNTEERS</b> </p> <p>Please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form at https://forms.gle/mKzTyugafXMaxjX68 to sign up or contact Patty at pattylynn1&#64;aol.com</p> <p>You will be provided a race t-shirt for helping. Volunteer check-in times will be emailed out as the race gets closer, plan on anywhere from 7am to Noon. If you want to volunteer and race, please note that on the interest form.
