<p>Join us for our <strong>13th Annual</strong> run/walk to honor and celebrate the life of Kendra R. Atherton and to raise money for a scholarship fund in her name to benefit college students who have lost a parent to cancer, and who display the qualities possessed by Kendra. <strong>As of today, the k5k: A Run for Kendra has awarded over $155,000 in scholarships to students who have lost a parent to cancer.</strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline;color:rgb( 230 , 39 , 228 )"><strong>NEW LOCATION: Neptune&#39;s Park (3001 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451)</strong></span></p> <p><strong>When: Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 9am </strong></p> <p><b>Where: Virginia Beach Boardwalk or Virtually</b></p> <p><span style="color:#843fa1"><b>Join us for our after party at The Shack after the race is over! The Shack is located at 712 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.</b></span></p> <p>Whether you live in the area or are 500 miles away, you now have the opportunity to run/walk the k5k wherever you are! When you sign up for our virtual event, you will also receive emails with instructions on how to post your results. <b>Virtual results can be posted at any time during the month of November</b>. You can compete with people participating all over the country!
