About Youngstown Peace Race

The 51st annual Youngstown Peace Race takes place on Sunday, October 12th, 2025.  The event includes a 400-Meter Kids Fun Run (Ages 10 & Under), 2-Mile Run/Walk, & 10K.  A virtual option is also available.

- The Kids Fun Run begins at 9:00am and starts west of the Federal Plaza & Wick Ave intersection in Downtown Youngstown.

- The 2-Mile begins at 9:30am from the square in Downtown Youngstown.  

- The 10K begins at 10:00am and the start line drop off area is located at Kirkmere Elementary School.  10K Runners must pick up packets before going to Kirkmere.  The 10K will follow a fast point-to-point course starting from the Kirk Rd. & S. Schenley Ave. intersection, winding through scenic Mill Creek Park.  

- All races finish at the monument at the intersection of Federal Plaza & Wick Ave. under the finish line banner.
