<p><span style="background-color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 );color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 )"><strong>There is a one hour cut off for all runners. You will be escorted off the course is you do not finish the course by 8:30am</strong></span></p> <p>Brevard Zoo&#39;s Wild Watermelon 3k is a family-friendly event and great way to kick off your summer!<br />Runners and walkers of all ages will traverse a course through the Zoo passing animals, their habitats and native plants along the way.</p> <p><br />The event features a post-race watermelon feast, with slices of fresh, chilled watermelon courtesy of our presenting partner, the Florida Watermelon Association!<br />The run is set for a 7:30 a.m. start on June 20, 2026.</p> <p>A water/Gatorade station is along the route and at our start and finish line areas.</p> <p>Prizes will be awarded to the Top 10 overall male and female finishers, and ALL finishers will receive a beautiful watermelon-themed medal and commemorative running hat.<br />Race shirts will be available for purchase for $20 each online prior to the event.<br />This race is limited. Register today before it sells out.
