UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine SAVMA Wags for Wellness 5k 2026 Race Information

<h1><b>Saturday, April 19 at UW Madison Lakeshore Path</b></h1> <p><b>EVENT DESCRIPTION</b></p> <p>You are invited to participate in the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine SAVMA&#39;s Run/ Walk 5k to raise awareness regarding wellness and mental well-being for veterinary students and professionals.  </p> <p>Dogs are welcome to participate in the race as well. *Completion of a waiver and submission of up to date vaccination documentation (Rabies and Distemper) are required for participation*</p> <p><b>EVENT LOGISTICS:</b></p> <ul><li>Check-In Time: 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM</li><li>Race Start Time: 9:00 AM</li></ul> <p><b>PARKING:</b></p> <ul><li>Lot 60 near the boat launch. Parking is free on the weekends.</li></ul> <p><b>***IF THERE IS RAIN OR SNOW DURING THE EVENT, THE RACE WILL STILL BE HELD***</b></p> <p>Registered participants will receive a T-shirt and a grab bag. Raffle prizes and a breakfast will occur post race. </p> <p>The registration fee increases as we get closer to the race date so be sure to purchase tickets early!</p>
