<p>The UVM WE 4.20 5K for Wellness is a cost-free and substance-free 5K fun run/walk that is open to all. This family friendly event will start and finish on UVM’s Athletic Campus. The 11th-annual event will take place on Monday, April 20th, 2026. Our aim is to bring the greater Burlington and UVM community together to celebrate building healthy brains by moving our bodies. Free long sleeve race shirt for the first 1,000 participants. Free food trucks, games, raffles, and more!</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Race Day Information!!</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Facility Information</span></p> <ul><li><strong>Parking</strong>: Walk to the event if you are able! Parking is available in Gutterson Parking Garage, University Heights North Lot, or the Jeffords Lot – no pass needed</li><li><strong>Restrooms</strong>: Limited availability – Outdoors (porta-potties near Virtue Field) and indoors in the lobby of the Gucciardi Fitness Center</li></ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Check-In:</span> <span style="color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 )">ARRIVE BEFORE 3:30pm</span></p> <ul><li>UVM Gardner-Collins Indoor Track from 12-4pm (no late check-in)</li><li>Enter through the south side of the indoor track</li><li>You will get your race shirt, wristband, and raffle ticket</li><li>Arrive early for mini golf, yard games, and expo tables - come hang out!</li></ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Race Start:</span> <span style="color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 )">4:20pm SHARP!</span></p> <ul><li>Start/finish line located on the South side of Gutterson Field House </li><li>Start-line will be self-seeded: If you run fast, get to the front. If you plan on walking, hang towards the back.</li><li>The course is a 3.1 mile loop following the South Burlington rec path </li><li>No bib timing or results – the goal is to get moving and have fun!</li></ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Food Trucks</span></p> <ul><li>Food truck tickets will be handed out at the entrance to the concourse when you finish the race.</li><li>Keep your wristband on to claim your tickets</li><li>Please keep food outside!</li><li>No tickets needed for drink vendors</li></ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Raffle</span></p> <ul><li>Raffle winners will be announced by the food trucks at 5:20pm.</li><li>You must be present to claim your prize.</li></ul> <p> </p> <p>See you on Sunday!</p> <p>The WE Team :)</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
