<h5><span style="color:rgb( 85 , 85 , 85 )">Join us for Therapeutic Riding of Tri-Cities (TROT) 5th Annual <strong>Trot for TROT 5k &amp; 1 Mile Fun Run </strong>on Saturday, October 11th, 2025! Come on out for a fun filled, family friendly morning. Walk, jog, run, or roll along the scenic Columbia River and enjoy some fresh air and beautiful autumn scenery. This event is a fundraiser for TROT which promotes the physical, psychological and social well-being of people with special needs by providing animal assisted therapies and programs. All proceeds, entry fees, and shirt purchases will go directly to providing scholarships for families and riders with financial needs, operational program costs, and equine care. For more information about TROT visit <a href="https://www.trot3cities.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.trot3cities.org/</a>. </span></h5> <p> </p> <h4><strong><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 85 , 85 )">Race Details</span></strong></h4> <h5><span style="color:rgb( 85 , 85 , 85 )">The 5K route and 1 Mile route will start and finish at the Columbia Point Marina parking lot in Richland (600 Columbia Point Drive Richland, WA). <strong>This is a family-friendly and kid-friendly event and the course is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.</strong> Both routes are out and back on pavement. <strong>Special awards</strong> will be given to the Top Overall male and female (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) in the 5K distance and Top Overall male and female (1st place and 2nd place) in the 1 mile distance. The Trot for TROT will NOT be chip-timed. <strong>Runners and walkers are encouraged to bring their canine companions to help celebrate the special human-animal bond. Bram Brata &amp; OK2Botay are two remarkable groups in TCSBA who know how to get the crowd going.
