The out-and-back course heads east from the park and turns around where the 12-ft wide paved trail crosses Bellerive Road. The course will be marked with chalk and cones and traffic control volunteers will be at each road crossing (Elementary St / Leslie Rd / Venus Cir) to help as crossing guards although you are responsible for safely crossing each roadway (be prepared to stop in case of traffic that is not yielding).</h5> <p> </p> <h5><u><b>5k Registration:</b></u><br />➔ $20 Online (until May 31st)</h5> <h5>➔ $30 Online (until July 31st)</h5> <h5>➔ $35 Online (through race day)</h5> <h5>➔ 12 &amp; Under are <i><b>FREE</b></i> with a paid parent (after registering the parent, please contact us for discount code to use for the child)</h5> <h5> </h5> <h5><b><u>Kids Splash Dash:</u></b></h5> <h5>The Kids Splash Dash is a 1⁄2 mile fun run/walk that stays within the Badger Mountain Park and follows the paved loop path around the fields and splash pad. This is<i><b> FREE </b></i>and open to anyone 10 years old and younger.</h5> <h5> </h5> <h5>All participants will need to sign a waiver and anyone under 18 years old will need the waiver signed by a parent.</h5> <p> </p> <h5><u><b>Awards &amp; Timing:</b></u></h5> <h5>The 5k race will be timed and results will be posted online after the event. The 1⁄2 mile kids run will not be timed.</h5> <h5><br />Medals will be provided to the top 3 female and male finishers overall and also of each age group in the 5k:</h5> <h5> 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70&#43;<br /><br /></h5> <h5>All finishers of the Kids Splash Dash will receive a finisher ribbon.</h5> <p> </p> <h5><u><b>Post Race:</b></u></h5> <h5>Water and snacks will be available at the finish line.</h5> <h5>Please bring chairs and towels so you can hang around after the event.
