The Star 99.9 & the Surfside Hotel Run for Wishes is hosted by The Little Pub in the Lordship section of Stratford. The Surfside Hotel & Little Pub overlook Long Island Sound as does most of the course!

Register early, enjoy the beach and views, run/walk or saunter our very flat and scenic out and back roads, followed by snacks & adult beverages (21+ only). Plenty of N/A options available too.

We encourage ALL abilities to join us. Everyone completing the full 5K is eligible for awards based on their computer time.
AWARDS: The TOP 3 Male & Female Finishers overall will receive a prize and be removed from their age group.
FIRST Place Age group awards to be announced for 9 & under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

'GIVE AWAY: Every participant will be automatically entered into the 'GIVE AWAY' as part of their race fees. Additional raffle tickets MAY be sold on site to raise funds for MAKE-A-WISH® CONNECTICUT.
Surfside will provide a hotel stay as the grand prize, and a second prize will be announced soon.
POST RACE FOOD AND BEVERAGE: As part of the entrant's race fees, Little Pub will offer each 21 & older participant an adult beverage as well as a non-alcoholic option. We will also have snacks, chips & more.
NEW ADDITION! The Lordship lobster truck will be open for pre/post 5K sales of lobster rolls (hot & cold), hot dogs, hush puppies, beer, wine, and more! Invite your friends, families and perfect strangers to join us for a great “after” picnic !

6/3: Registration Opens $30 till 8/3 ($25 for 20 & under)
7/31: Guaranteed shirt size ends- We may not have many extra so REGISTER IN TIME!
8/4: Registration fee increases to $40 through 8/10 ($30 for 20 & under)
8/9: Early bib/shirt pickup at the Little Pub picnic lot 8:30-10am Get there & avoid race day stress.

When a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. The majority of wish kids go on to beat their critical illnesses, and research shows that a wish can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight – giving them a better chance of surviving and thriving. There are over 300 Connecticut children waiting for their wishes to be granted who count on donors like you to help make their wish come true.
Summer should be a time of joy for children, but wish kids often miss out due to their illness, creating a dark chapter during a time that should be filled with sunshine and memories.
A wish can change everything for these children - giving them the strength and hope they need to persevere in their fight against critical illness. The summertime is Make-A-Wish® Connecticut's busiest wish-granting season, but it can also be a time when we receive the least amount of financial support. With over 300 kids waiting for their wishes to be granted, we need your help!
