Four legged mammals on leash are permitted </span><span style="color:#e03e2d">but you must bring your own poop bags.</span><span style="color:#e03e2d"></span></h3> <h3> </h3> <h2><span style="background-color:#fbeeb8">We are again Hosted by the <b>Little Pub</b> beautifully located in the Lordship section of Stratford</span></h2> <h2>This late afternoon run/walk will feature terrific swag for the 21 &amp; over participants. </h2> <h3>(Under 21 can register and enjoy the event but will only receive a non-alcohol beverage.) </h3> <h3> </h3> <h3><u><b>Our Course</b></u>- <i>3.11 miles of scenic wonder!</i> 80% direct water views, start/finish and post run fun overlooking Point no Point opposite the seawall           <br />           <a href="https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2606888" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2606888</a> </h3> <h3> </h3> <h3>This idea all started when we saw an advert for the &#34;Trunk or Treat&#34; hosted by the Little Pub for the little tykes in our neighborhood. Then we figured “Why not the big tykes?”</h3> <h3>After we did some research it didn&#39;t take long to realize we could team up and create an opportunity for some casual fun.</h3> <h3> </h3> <h3><b>So here is what we came up with:  </b></h3> <h3><u>The first 100 people will receive-</u></h3> <h3> &#39;A Wine of a Kind&#39; shirt - might be short sleeve, might be LS, you never know &amp; neither do we. I often use various shirts we have in stock.</h3> <h5> (size guarantee by midnight 10/19, after that- whatever we have)</h5> <p> </p> <h3><i><b><span style="color:#843fa1">TWO- half-bottles of wine* (one white, one red)</span></b></i></h3> <h3><i><span style="color:#843fa1"><b>ONE post run glass of a Little Pub beer*</b></span></i></h3> <p> </p> <h3>Happy hour-appropriate snacks like pretzel bites, granola bars, bananas…</h3> <p> </p> <h4><span style="color:rgb( 186 , 55 , 42 )">Reg Fee- $35 for 21 &amp; over, just $25 for 20 &amp; under!</span></h4> <h4><span style="color:rgb( 186 , 55 , 42 )">NOTE- Reg fee increase on 10/20 to $40 and $30 for 20 &amp; under</span></h4> <p> </p> <h5><strong>SHIRTS</strong>- Might be a long sleeve, might be a short sleeve. Cotton or polytech, color not determined yet. It&#39;s all about the tariffs and the escalating costs of imported shirts. These things aren&#39;t made in the USA anymore! And the windmills... ya gotta be careful, right?</h5> <h5><strong>SWAG</strong>- Besides the wine, we never know what we are going to find on Temu...</h5> <h3> </h3> <h3><b>THE SUNDAY 10/26 AFTERNOON SCHEDULE </b></h3> <h3>The Little Pub will be open with food/drinks and non alcoholic beverages. Come on down early. Hang out, watch a game or relax on the seawall/beach area. <br /><br /></h3> <h3><span style="color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 )"><strong>4:00 pm Bib/shirt/swag pickup starts- NO SOONER!</strong></span></h3> <h3><strong>4:45 pm Free Kids Dash</strong>- just 150 yards or so, costumes encouraged, ages 9 &amp; under please. </h3> <h3>    Directed by Donna Cramond, the Queen of Kids, and semi-professional cat herder!</h3> <h3><b>5:00 pm  <span style="color:#843fa1">HalloWine 5K run, walk, saunter- START</span></b></h3> <h3>5:20 pm  Tentative post run/walk stuff:  snacks, fluids, fun  </h3> <h3> </h3> <h3>AT LEAST ONE FREE BEER FOR EVERYONE 21 &amp; over </h3> <h3> </h3> <h3><span style="background-color:#eccafa">This is still a work in progress and we are adding more by the day! </span></h3> <h3> </h3> <h3><b>RESULTS</b>- As of now this is a &#39;timed&#39; event and we will post results online. <em><strong>Thanks to Jim Gerweck our #1 timer of all things Lordship. </strong></em></h3> <p> </p> <h3><b>AWARDS</b>- With all that swag we may not have overall or age group awards-</h3> <h3>but you never know what we might come up with at the last minute! MSRP directs over 30 running events each year in Fairfield County. Many of them with crazy themes, especially the seven that Little Pub hosts. </i></h5> <p> </p> <h4><b><u>Thanks to Doug Grabe &amp; Jillian and Little Pub</u></b> they have teamed up to host a variety of boutique running events the last three years.
