Tantalus 10-Mile Challenge Race Information

<p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">This is a one-loop course.  Start at 6:30 a.m. on Makiki Heights Drive near Halau Kumana School, heading uphill on Makiki Heights Drive, branching onto Tantalus Drive uphill for about five miles, then onto Round Top Drive heading downhill for more than four miles to a right turn onto Makiki Street, and another right onto Makiki Heights Drive, finishing uphill near the starting point. There is no separate packet pickup, get your bib number on race morning.</span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">There will be an optional early start at 6:00 a.m. for walkers and runners who plan to finish in more than 2.5 hours (15-minute miles). There are two requirements for the early start: 1) check in with the timer no later than 5:45 a.m. and 2) bring a light source (flashlight or headlamp) because it will still be dark at start time.  <strong>Early start participants are not eligible for overall or age group awards. </strong> </span></p>
