These police dogs are often the first responders on dangerous scenes, and their protective vests are sometimes the only thing standing between them and harm until their human partners can help. By joining this challenge, you’re helping raise funds to protect K9s in Wisconsin, ensuring they have the gear they need when facing danger head-on.</span></h5> <h5><strong><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">Your Challenge, Your Way!   </span></strong></h5> <h5><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">In this challenge, you can log 100 miles or 100 hours at your own pace—whether it&#39;s while walking your dog, running solo, riding a horse, or hiking with friends. With or without your four-legged companions, your participation makes a difference.</span><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )"> Solo or with friends - every mile counts!  By joining this challenge you are helping to not only raise funds for WI Vest a Dog, you are also helping raise awareness and who knows, you may spark a change in your community to help get vests for your local K9s.   Sadly, K9s and their equiptment are often not funded by the police department and need our help. </span></h5> <h5><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )"><strong>Earn Amazing Rewards! </strong> </span></h5> <h5><em><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )"> Shield of Love Completion Awards</span></em></h5> <h5><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">Completion awards for this challenge includes a medal,  a sticker, an embroidered patch, magnet and dog tag. You also gain fitness for you and your challenge partner, if you are walking with someone or your pet or horse.   You gain an amazing online social media community of people who share your love of nature and animals and who love to cheer one another on.
