Shenandoah Valley Runners Annual Member Banquet Race Information

<h6>Join us on April 11, 2026 for the annual Members Banquet of the <a href="http://svrunners.org" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Shenandoah Valley Runners</a>.</h6> <h6>The banquet will be once again be held at the <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/m7kQ8vduwpzqirHP6" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Millwood Station Banquet Hall at 252 Costello Dr in Winchester.</a> </h6> <h6>Doors open at 4pm with food served at 5pm and presentations starting at 5:30pm. The event is expected to conclude before 9pm. </h6> <h6>Registration for the banquet is only $1 though it is restricted to active club members. If you have family or friends that would like to join you at the banquet they will need to <a href="https://runsignup.com/Club/VA/Winchester/ShenandoahValleyRunners" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">establish a club membership </a>and register for the event. Fortunately, the annual club membership is only $15 for individuals ($10 for students).</h6> <h6>At the banquet the club President will give members a &#34;State of the Club&#34; update, we will hear presentations from featured speakers, and the club will present several awards. </h6> <h6>Awards will include </h6> <ul><li> <h6>Winter Series overall and age group</h6> </li><li> <h6>Winter Series Perfect Attendance</h6> </li><li> <h6>Runners of the Year</h6> </li><li> <h6>Volunteers of the Year</h6> </li><li> <h6>Ray Gordon Spirit of Running Award</h6> </li></ul> <h6>If you have earned an award but will not be able to attend please try to have someone collect your award on your behalf at the banquet. </h6> <h6>We will not be mailing awards and do not have the space to store unclaimed awards so we can not guarantee that they will be available after April 13th. </h6> <h6>SVR will provide the main dish with both meat and vegan options (caterer still TBD) and <strong>w</strong><b>e are asking members to bring a side-dish, salad, or dessert to share. Anyone that brings a dish to share will have an additional opportunity to win a new pair of shoes from <a href="https://www.runnersretreat.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Runners&#39; Retreat.</a></b></h6> <h6>Lastly, we are continuing the tradition of using the banquet to gather donations for <a href="https://www.highlandpantrywinc.org/home" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Highland Food Pantry</a>. In prior years we have collected just under 500lb of donations.
