Frederick County Parks and Recreation Youth Running Club Race Information

<p>Our Youth Running Club is designed for kids who enjoy running or want to become stronger, more confident runners. Whether working towards improving fitness, or simply developing a love for the sport, participants will build endurance, learn proper running form, pacing, and teamwork in a fun and encouraging environment.<br /><br />Participants should be prepared and willing to run continuously for approximately 2 miles during each practice. We welcome all paces, but runners should have a genuine interest in running and be ready to actively participate throughout practice.<br /><br />Registration includes entry into Trails 4 Miles (September 26), the Thanksgiving Day 5K (Thanksgiving morning) and a intersquad mile fun run, providing opportunities to put new skills into action.<br /><br />Please bring running shoes, a water bottle, and a positive attitude.
