About 50 meters of pure fun for kids 10 &amp; under.<br />Includes a shirt, Kids Dash medal, and memories for a lifetime.</p> <p><strong>1 Mile Fun Run:</strong><br />Perfect for all ages. Untimed, fun, and full of 80’s spirit. Bring a radio, pom poms, or noise makers.<br />Rating: Chill position with great interaction. Bring a chair if desired.</p> <p><strong>Course Monitors</strong><br />Located at key safety points (e.g., crosswalks). Direct runners and cheer them on!<br />Rating: Fun, exciting — right in the action.</p> <p><strong>Finish Line Helper</strong><br />Assist with medals, refreshments, and cheering finishers.<br />Rating: Easy and fun — at the heart of the celebration.</p> <p><strong>Turtle / Sweeper</strong><br />Support the final participant and alert volunteers when the last runner passes.<br />Rating: Slightly physical — rewarding and great exercise.</p> <p><strong>Packet Pickup / Results</strong><br />Distribute bibs, shirts, and help celebrate finishers.<br />Rating: Busy before start, fun and relaxed after. Set the tone for the day!</p> <p><strong>Floater</strong><br />Assist wherever needed — medals, snacks, crowd support, etc.<br />Rating: Super easy and fun — in the middle of all the excitement.</p> <p><strong>Lead Bike</strong><br />Guide the first runners on the correct course using a bike or scooter.<br />Rating: Active and enjoyable. You’re done once the lead runner finishes.</p> <p><strong>Bigfoot Mascot</strong><br />Wear the Bigfoot suit, cheer, give high-fives, and take photos!<br />Rating: The coolest and most fun position — you’re the star of the show!</p> <p> <br />&#x1f3de;️ <strong>Course Info</strong><br />Courses are held on paved trails and park paths, with some mixed surfaces possible (crushed granite or dirt). Aid stations will be available with water and support to keep you hydrated and safe.</p> <p><strong>Course Surface:</strong> Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).<br /><strong>Public Space Notice:</strong> Events take place in public parks, greenbelts, and roads. You may encounter park users such as dog walkers or families with strollers.
