<p>The <strong>26th Annual Auggie's 5K Run &amp; Walk, </strong>which starts promptly at<strong> 9:00 a.m</strong>., benefits the programming of the <strong>Ohio County Animal Shelter</strong>. The flat and fast course, which commences and ends at Warwood Middle School,&nbsp;is on <strong>Wheeling's Heritage Trail</strong> along the Ohio River. Essentially, runners and walkers have separate, out-and-back courses, despite starting and finishing in the same area. Runners run north on the paved trail, and walkers walk south. There will be post-race refreshments and door prizes.</p> <p><strong>Packet Pickup will start at 7:30 a.m. and end at 8:45 a.m., race day.
