Join us for the Solo Strong 5K, a family-friendly run/walk bringing our community together the weekend before National Solo Parent Day! This isn’t just a race: it’s a celebration of strength, resilience, and support for families of all kinds.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a parent with a stroller, or just looking for a fun community outing, this event is for you. We’ll have a kids’ race, activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect with neighbors and friends.

Best of all, 100% of proceeds benefit Solo Parent, supporting their mission to empower and encourage solo parents in our community. Together, we’re building something meaningful for families and celebrating the power of showing up, for ourselves and each other!

Schedule:

• 6:30 - 8:00 AM: Packet & T-shirt Pickup

• 9:00 AM: Solo Strong 5K Run/Walk Start (Fun Runners in last corral) 

• 10:30 AM: Closing & Thank You

Course Info:
The course winds through the scenic Park at Harlinsdale Farms. It’s stroller-friendly, welcoming to all ages and paces, and perfect for runners and walkers alike.

Arrival & Parking:
Please plan to arrive 30–45 minutes before your event to allow time for parking and check-in. Free parking is available on-site, and volunteers will guide you to designated areas.

Waivers & ID:
All participants must complete the event waiver (signed during online registration). Please bring a photo ID to confirm your registration at pickup.

What to Bring:

• Running shoes and comfortable clothing

• Water bottle (refill stations provided)

• Energy and excitement!

What to Wear:
Dress for the weather. The race will go on rain or shine! No refunds for bad weather. 

Other Details:

• Strollers and kids are welcome on the 5K course.

• Cheer squads and spectators are encouraged to join!
