<p>Run for Repairs<br />8K, 5K, and a one-mile fun run<br />A Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix Event benefiting Housing Partnerships (8K race is the CRR Grand Prix event)<br /><br /></p> <p>Saturday, May 30, 2026 | Lois Hornsby Middle School (race starts and finishes at the start of the asphalt recreation trail from the school, which enters Freedom Park in a half mile, and directly connects to the main park trail)</p> <p>Every step you take fixes a neighbor&#39;s home in need. Lace up, and show up for the people next door. Run for Repairs is a charity run/walk featuring an 8K, 5K, and a one-mile fun run where your miles mean real impact — patching roofs, fixing floors, and keeping families safe, warm, and dry in their homes.</p> <p>Finisher medals for all participants and awards for top finishers. T-shirts for all pre-registered runners/walkers for 8K, 5K, and One Mile Fun Run.  Day-of registration t-shirts are not guaranteed.  </p> <p> This event is rain or shine.</p> <p>Start time will be 8:00 am for the 8K and 5K, followed by the one-mile fun run at 8:30 am (ish). Times are subject to change. <br /><br /></p> <p>For 8K, awards are to the top 3 men and women overall, top 3 men and women race walkers, and top 3 in five-year age groups from 14-and-under to 75-and-over.</p> <p>For the 5K, race awards to the top 5 overall men and women.</p> <p>No awards for one mile fun run.
