<p style="line-height:1.5"><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )"><strong>Calling all Members!</strong> -  We are excited to introduce a brand-new annual recognition program – just for you!  Some of you will notice that this is similar to the Richmond Road Runners Club’s Grand Prix Competition – good news – it IS and it’s called the RTC <strong>TRISTARS</strong>!</span></p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">By registering here you will be eligible to participate in the <strong>TRISTARS </strong>Program.  Please remember to submit your volunteer participation on this form <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScGBTvYXkOtJwPf-GpkhnkV2yYJsGv_zgyg0onCdAEjQnXpdQ/viewform?usp=sharing&amp;ouid=111775519270289006532" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScGBTvYXkOtJwPf-GpkhnkV2yYJsGv_zgyg0onCdAEjQnXpdQ/viewform?usp=sharing&amp;ouid=111775519270289006532</a> </span></p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">for every event, committee or qualifying function that you help RTC with.</span></p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">The RTC <strong>TRISTARS</strong> program is an annual recognition event that encourages and rewards participation and volunteerism.</span></p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><strong><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">RULES</span></strong></p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">The program runs from January 1 through December 31 each year.</span><br /><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">To participate, you must: Register for the RTC <strong>TRISTARS</strong> Program on-line (RunSignUp) for the current calendar year.</span><br /><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">To be designated as a finalist you must accumulate at least 20 points by achieving the following: You must participate or volunteer for at least two (2) Live Red races AND </span><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">Volunteer for at least eight (8) open water swims. The swims are inclusive of the open water swim/bike events (OWS kickoff, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, OWS finale).</span></p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><strong><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">As an option to accumulate extra points:</span></strong><br /><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">                    i.   Participate on an RTC Committee OR</span><br /><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">                    ii.  Represent RTC at an RTC Event OR</span><br /><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">                    iii. Lead an RTC Workout OR</span><br /><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">                    iv. Being a Mentor OR</span><br /><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">                    v. Taking the RTC Tent to an Event, Setting it up and Returning it.<strong> </strong></span><strong><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">Please Plan Ahead!</span></strong></p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">Participation and volunteering is not counted when an event is canceled.</span></p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">You are responsible for either signing the volunteer/participation form at the event or submitting a form here: <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1mRuhVLdC4mB_dPXIQz9z_zIcUB18btNn4at3MPZPMos/edit" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>TRISTARS </strong>Volunteer and Participation Form</a></span><br /><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">The event form must be signed on the day of the event or your individual volunteer/participation form MUST be submitted within seven (7) days of volunteering for or participating in an event.<strong> </strong></span><em><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">RTC is not responsible for missing signatures or forms.</span></em></p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><span style="color:rgb( 35 , 111 , 161 )">Point standings will be released June, September and December. <em>There will be absolutely no changes made for discrepancies corrected after one month from the official tracking release.
