<p style="line-height:1.5"><b>REaDy to Run 5K Run/Walk</b> is a family-friendly community run/walk for men, women, and children.  The race also features a virtual option. Runners, joggers, and walkers enjoy a healthy, fun-filled event while supporting a worthy cause.  Join us as we celebrate our 5 year anniversary!! </p> <p style="line-height:1.5"> </p> <p style="line-height:1.5">All proceeds benefit both <a href="https://girlsofexcellenceinc.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Girls of Excellence</a> (GOE) and <a href="https://www.hopefloats.foundation/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hope Floats Foundation</a>.</p> <p style="line-height:1.5"> </p> <p style="line-height:1.5">GOE is a program engaged in life changing experiences, field trips, conferences, events, workshops, cultural activities and are embraced by a comprehensive system of mentors and community partners dedicated to supporting them on their journey.</p> <p style="line-height:1.5">Hope Floats partners with high-quality swim schools to provide scholarships for swimming lessons for children living in poverty.  Scholarships and tuition assistance is provided to children who might not otherwise be able to afford swim lessons. </p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><b>REaDy to Run 5K Run/Walk</b> is sponsored by <a href="https://dstmrac.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Marietta-Roswell Alumnae Chapter</a> (MRAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. MRAC is a sisterhood of college-educated women committed to providing public service programming that impacts its Cobb, Cherokee, and North Fulton County service area.</p> <p style="line-height:1.5"> </p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><b>COURSE</b>: This USATF-Certified 5K course has many flat sections with a few gentle slopes and serves as a qualifier for AJC Peachtree Road Race. Strollers are permitted on the course. Pets are not allowed on the course. (Cert number GA23014DJ)</p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><span style="text-decoration:underline"><em><strong>***No strollers or pets allowed***</strong></em></span></p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><b>TIME LIMIT</b>: 5K - 1 hour and 15 minutes. Any participant still on the course after the time limit is reached will be asked to vacate the course.</p> <p style="line-height:1.5"> </p> <p style="line-height:1.5"><b>TIMING</b>:  The timing device for this event is RFID timing by <a href="http://www.PerformanceRaceServices.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Performance Race Services</a>.
