<p><strong>Join us for The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta&#39;s 12th annual Race for Rest in partnership with Monday Night Brewing! Yes, there will be free beer (21&#43;)!</strong></p> <p><b>WHY SHOULD YOU RUN IN THE RACE FOR REST 5K?</b><br />1. If you register for the 5k by October 10th, you are guaranteed a super cool free t-shirt!<br />2. Every 5k participant (21 and over, of course) will receive a FREE beer from Monday Night Garage! Plus, all runners get coffee from Dancing Goats Coffee!<br />3. Our 5k is a chipped Peachtree Road Race qualifier that runs along the Beltline!<br />4. We&#39;ll have an official 5k after-party at the Garage with live music! <br />5. Because everyone deserves a place to lay their head at night!</p> <p><b>WHERE IS THIS HAPPENING?</b><br />The race begins and ends at Monday Night Brewing&#39;s Garage location! Parking is free and the location is Marta accessible (yeah, public transportation!) We highly encourage runners or use Uber/Lyft.</p> <p><b>WHEN SHOULD YOU BE THERE?</b><br />The race starts at 9am on Saturday, October 18th. Come ready to run (or walk) and support Atlanta families in need! All funds raised will support Furniture Bank programs. </p> <p>If you are picking up your packet on race day or registering on-site, please visit the registration table by 8:30am at the very latest! </p> <p>If you pick up your packet before race day, you can arrive as late as 8:45 a.m. We will host early packet pick-ups on Thursday, October 16th, 11am-6pm, at Big Peach Midtown (800 Peachtree Street, Suites B &amp; C, Atlanta, GA 30308) and Friday, October 17th, 11am-3pm, at Big Peach Decatur (1565 Church St #520, Decatur, GA 30033).</p> <p><b>WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING? WE&#39;RE GLAD YOU ASKED!</b></p> <p>5K awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male &amp; Female, Top 3 Masters Overall Male &amp; Female, and Male &amp; Female Age Groups, 14 &amp; Under 15-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&#43;. Even if you are 90 years old, you can win a medal, too! We&#39;ll also have awards for the Top 3 teams with the fastest average time! Teams must have 5 or more people to be eligible for awards.</p> <p>Awards will also be given to the top 3 fundraising teams!</p> <p>Stick around after the 5k for our official after-party at Monday Night Garage where we&#39;ll hand out awards. Grab your free beer and buy more to hang out for the day. Invite your non-runner friends to join you! Don&#39;t worry parents, kids of all ages are welcome! Furry kids, too!<b></b></p>
