OSU Indoor Triathlon Race Information

<p>This year&#39;s race will be held in the Recreational and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) at The Ohio State University on Sunday, January 25th, 2026. This will count as a USAT Collegiate Nationals qualifier.  An indoor triathlon is based on time rather than distance, allowing all levels of ability the opportunity to compete! There will be a 10 minute swim in the indoor competition pool. Then there is a 15 minute transition that allows you to change into biking clothes/get situated at your stationary bike. The stationary bike ride will last 20 minutes. A 5 minute transition is then given to allow you enough time to get to the track. Concluding the race is a 15 minute run on our indoor track. Food will be provided afterwards and each racer will receive a t-shirt (if signed up before the deadline). Prizes will also be given out to our winners.</p> <p>Prizes: This years prizes include a Roka Wetsuit! The top male and top female finishers will each be awarded a certificate to purchase a wetsuit.</p> <p><em>Must be signed up by 1/04/2026 in order to guarantee a t-shirt.</em> </p> <p>Race Wave Assignments: Collegiate racers will race first, followed by open racers. Preliminary wave assignments will be posted on January 18th, 2026 and will be emailed out. Any registrations after January 18th will be placed in the last waves. 5k times will be used to seed racers.</p> <p><em>We will not be taking requests for specific wave placements.</em></p> <p>Registration Deadline: Registration will be open till race day but all registrations after January 18th will be put in the last waves. Finalized wave assignments will be made that night. Preliminary wave assignments will be made starting January 18th and will be made available to give you an idea of when you will be competing, but it is possible that you could be moved up or down a wave.</p> <p>Same Day Registration: Same-day registration will be available. It is easiest if you have cash on hand in the morning to give to one of our race directors.</p> <p><br />Questions?
