MSU Miles for Medicine - Powered by SNMA Race Information

<p><strong>Miles for Medicine</strong> is a 5K, 2-mile, and Kids Fun Run race that put on by the <strong>Student National Medical Association (SNMA)</strong> of Michigan State University&#39;s College of Human Medicine.</p> <p>At <strong>SNMA</strong>, we believe that healthcare should be a human right accessible by all, not a privilege. </p> <p>This race:</p> <ul><li>Helps medical students make a difference locally, regionally, and nationally</li><li>Helps the community improve their health one step at a time.</li></ul> <p>Come out an enjoy family fun for all ages, free health screenings, music, games, and more, while making healthcare more accessible for everyone in our community.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Pricing:</strong> 5k run/walk $35 until 9/21, $40 from 9/22 to 10/3, $45 on race day. 2-mile $30 until 9/21, $35 from 9/22 to 10/3, $40 on race day. Kids $20 (t-shirt guaranteed until 9/27). Virtual $20 (no shirt, run and support our organization) </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Race Swag:</strong> Participants registered by September 27th will receive an exclusive race t-shirt. Shirts are limited in sizes after that date and will be distributed to participants who registered between 9/27 and 10/4 on a first come first served basis until gone. Shirts will be available in youth and adult sizes. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Course: </strong>The event will start and finish at Conrad Hall. See the Course Map section along the top of the page. The fun run will be an out and back </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Awards: </strong>Overall 5K &amp; 2-mile winners.  All fun run participants will receive a finishers medal.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Early Packet Pickup: </strong>Friday, October 3rd at Playmakers 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. </p> <p><strong>Packet Pickup:</strong> Race day morning starting at 7:30 am at the race start/finish area (Conrad Hall) </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Results</strong> will be live and texted to you upon completion of the race. The race is professionally timed by the <span style="color:rgb( 4 , 9 , 122 )"><strong>Michigan Running Foundation</strong></span>. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Proceeds:</strong> All donations and a portion of race proceeds will benefit Care Free Medical Clinic in Lansing, MI.
