IRONDOG 5k Race Information

<h2><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><strong><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )">IRONDOG 5K</span></strong></span></h2> <p> </p> <p>Join us on Saturday, March 21st - 2026 for our <strong>12th annual event</strong>. The <strong>IRONDOG Fund</strong> was created to support the medical and surgical care of animals hospitalized at the <span style="color:#008000"><strong><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )">MSU Veterinary Medical Center</span>.</strong></span> The<strong> IRONDOG 5K</strong> is our <span style="color:#ff0000"><strong>largest annual fundraiser</strong></span>. </p> <p> </p> <p>Join us for a<strong> flat, fast, fun, </strong>and<strong> unique</strong> 5K course through the campus of MSU. <em>Dogs are welcome with walkers, they must be leashed and we ask that you start at the back of the start line area</em>.</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><strong><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )">Pricing:</span> </strong></span>$30 until 3/13 with a t-shirt guaranteed. $35 from 3/14 to 3/20 limited shirts available. $40 race day (shirts while supplies last) </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><strong>Register by 3/13 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.</strong> </span>T-shirts available as supplies last after that date.</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><strong>Awards:</strong></span> Overall male and female and Overall Master (age 40&#43;) male and female.  Age group awards to top 3 in each age category. </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#008000"><strong><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )">Early Packet Pick Up</span> </strong></span>will be held at Playmakers ( 2299 W Grand River Ave, Okemos, MI 48864) 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Friday, March 20th.</p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><strong>Race day Packet Pickup</strong></span> will start at 7:30-8:50AM at the race site. </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 2 , 90 , 14 )"><strong>Virtual option:</strong></span> If you are unable to join us in person we are offering a virtual event. Run/Walk on your own date and we&#39;ll send you a race shirt in the mail.  Pricing is $35 until 3/13 with a t-shirt guaranteed. $40 from 3/14 to 3/21 limited shirts available. Price includes shipping. You can enter your results, however virtual participants are not eligible for awards. </p> <p> </p> <p>The race will be professionally timed by the <span style="color:#000080"><strong><a style="color:#000080" href="https://www.facebook.com/michiganrunningfoundation/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Michigan Running Foundation</a></strong></span>. Results will be live during the race. </p>
