<p>What’s up friends! WELCOME BACK for the 2nd annual Meche&#39;s Mile put on by Tour de Lafayette at Moncus Park on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2025 at 8:00AM where participants will have the option to run an open mile or a DONUT mile (my preferred option!). I am excited to announce we are partnering with Meche’s Donut King, so participants in the donut mile must finish one Meche’s glazed donut before crossing the starting line and complete a one-mile loop around Moncus Park. Those who wish to run the open mile will start when the gun goes off as normal. This race is all about FUN, MOVEMENT, and COMMUNITY! Bring your family, your friends, and your best self to run, walk or a lil bit of both! The purpose of this race is to encourage you to sign up for that running event without fear. The race will be a 1-mile loop in Moncus Park.
