All ages and abilities welcome! Walk or run for a great cause and then enjoy finish line food, refreshments, sponsor demonstrations, entertainment from DJ Ray Mills, and awards &amp; prizes. Kids 12 &amp; under run free in the mile! <strong>Sign up your whole family for a morning of movement and fun! </strong></p> <p>Our goal for our Live Brave Events is awesome community involvement that raises awareness for eating disorders and drives support for prevention and treatment programs. We care about our community and understand the benefits that exercise has on not only our physical health but our mental health as well. Race donations will go directly to the newly-formed Live Brave Fund, a part of the Woodbury Community Foundation, and be dispersed to local non-profit organizations that advocate for eating disorders and the mental health of our youth population (including www.withall.org). </p> <p><i><br /></i><u><b>Race Details<br /></b></u>Saturday, August 9th, 2024<br />Colby Lake Park, 9715 Valley Creek Road, Woodbury, MN 55125<br />USATF Certified Courses. Create your team today and run Live Brave together! Teams are easy to create during the registration process or by visiting the <a href="https://runsignup.com/RaceGroups/113937" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">“Teams” page</a> of our website. Church, school, hobby, friends, family, work, sports - anything goes! Have a blast and your team could possibly win (see team prize information below).</p> <p><strong>Instructions</strong>: The first team member to register can create the team during the registration process with just a few clicks. Subsequent members simply choose the team from a drop down menu during registration. Easy! <br /><strong>Team Prizes: </strong>Your 5K team* could also win a $200 Visa Gift Card! The biggest team and the fastest team (top 5 times counted) in the Live Brave 5K will win.</p> <p><em>*Only 5K Teams eligible for these awards.</em></p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Race Rules and Guidelines<br /></strong></span>The course is open to the public, so please be kind to pedestrians. Strollers are allowed, but please keep your pets at home. <strong>Your bib must be visible at all times.</strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Post-Race Celebration<br /></strong></span>The post race celebration will start as soon as the first runner crosses the finish line. Runners will cross the finish line to music, food and your cheers! The awards ceremony will start at approximately 10:30 am or as soon as results are available.<br /><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Spectator Information<br /></strong></span>This is a great course for viewing your runners! Make signs and cheer them on right at Colby Lake Park by the pavilion building, along the west side of Woodbury Drive, Edgewater Park by the tennis courts, and along the east side of Colby Lake.
