<p><b>Charlotte North Carolina’s TASTIEST Run! </b></p> <p>You won’t want to miss the 2025 Hit the Brixx 10K/6K and Kids kilometer presented by Novant Health, on Saturday, September 20. Yes -- We’re in a new month! Yes – FINISHER MEDALS and participant tee! And, YES!! There’s Brixx pizza and pasta at the finish! </p> <p>Proceeds from this event benefit the<a href="https://www.hpccr.org/specialty-care" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Kid’s Path</a> program at VIA Health Partners (formerly Hospice &amp; Palliative Care, Charlotte Region.)</p> <p><b>REGISTER NOW</b> </p> <p>Run the 2025 Hit the Brixx 10K/6K and kids 1 kilometer with us, then stick around for Brixx Pizza and pasta! </p> <p><b>Event Start Times:<br /></b>The 2025 Hit the Brixx 10K/6K presented by Novant Health starts and finishes at the Blakeney Shopping Center in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday September 20th. </p> <p>7:30 AM – 6K &amp; 10K start time <br />9 AM – Kids’ 1 kilometer start time </p> <p><b>Packet Pick Up</b>:</p> <p><b>When:</b> <b>Friday</b> September 19, 2025</p> <p><b>Where:</b> All three Run For Your Life locations, <b>FRIDAY ONLY!</b>: </p> <ul><li>Midtown: (901 S. Kings Drive) Friday 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM</li><li>Piper Glen: (6416 Rea Road) Friday 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM</li><li>University: (1816 E. Arbors Drive) Friday 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM</li></ul> <p><b>Race morning (On-site) starting at 7 am! </b></p> <p><b>Timing and Scoring:<br /></b>The race will be chip-timed using ChronoTrack timing equipment, and all participant results are based on the time the individual runner crosses the start and finish lines, respectively. Results will be available as you cross the finish line.  Just scan the QR code on your bibs or at the finish line!</p> <p><b>Bag Check</b>:<br />There is no bag check service for this event.</p> <p><b>Event T-Shirts:<br /></b>Register now to guarantee your shirt size!  Every participant will receive a short-sleeve shirt while supplies last. Shirts are ordered based on the sizes indicated during online registration. NO SWITCHING SIZES – NO EXCEPTIONS! You may switch sizes AFTER the race if we have leftover shirts. </p> <p><b>Awards &amp; Age Group Divisions</b>:<br />Age group and overall winners will be recognized at the post-event awards ceremony, to be held approximately 30 minutes after the first finisher. Please note, we do not ship unclaimed awards. </p> <p>Overall, Masters, 14 &amp; Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75&#43;.</p> <p><b>Refunds and Transfers:<br /></b>Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. </p> <p><b>10K Time Limit:<br /></b>1 Hour 30 Minutes </p> <p><b>Dogs:<br /></b>Hey, we love us some dogs, too. However, for the safety of everyone participating, dogs are not allowed on the course.  </p> <p><b>Strollers or Baby Joggers:<br /></b>Bring ‘em! We appreciate you exposing the next generation of runners to the race day experience. All baby jogger pushers will start with everyone else. Please note, there is no awards category for strollers or baby joggers.</p> <p><b>Medical Emergencies and First Aid:<br /></b>Medical services at the start/finish line are provided by our partners at Novant Health. Should you experience an on-course emergency, alert an event volunteer and call 9-1-1. </p> <p><b>Water Stops and Porta-Potties:<br /></b>Porta-Potties will also be available at the start/finish area. </p> <p><b>Inclement Weather Policy:<br /></b>Events will be held rain or shine unless RunCharlotte in conjunction with our public safety and medical partners determine that conditions are unsafe. Cancellation due to inclement weather will not constitute a refund or transfer. Consistent with USA Track &amp; Field protocols, RunCharlotte reserves the right to alter, cancel, or eliminate any or all portions of this event. </p> <p>  </p>
