Bring a radio, pom poms, or noise makers.<br />  Rating: Chill position with great interaction. Bring a chair if desired.</li><li>Course Monitors<br />Located at key safety points (e.g., crosswalks). Direct runners and cheer them on!<br />  Rating: Fun and exciting — right in the action.</li><li>Finish Line Helper<br />Assist with medals, refreshments, and cheering finishers.<br />  Rating: Easy and fun — at the heart of the celebration.</li><li>Turtle / Sweeper<br />Support the final participant and alert volunteers when the last runner passes.<br />  Rating: Slightly physical — rewarding and great exercise.</li><li>Packet Pickup / Results<br />Distribute bibs, shirts, and help celebrate finishers.<br />  Rating: Busy before start, fun and relaxed after. Set the tone for the day!</li><li>Floater<br />Assist wherever needed — medals, snacks, crowd support, etc.<br />  Rating: Super easy and fun — in the middle of all the excitement.</li><li>Lead Bike<br />Guide the first runners on the correct course using a bike or scooter.<br />  Rating: Active and enjoyable. Any additional pickups announced by email 1 week prior to the race.</li><li>Course Surface: Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).</li><li>Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks, greenbelts, and roads.
