Friends of the Poor Walk at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church Race Information

<p>1 mile walk to benefit the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Austin TX on Saturday, September 27 (Feast Day of St. Vincent de Paul).  This is our 7th Annual Walk.  Your donations will enable us to raise additional funds so we can help those calling for financial assistance.  They need help paying the rent or the light bill.  They may have been unable to work due to illness, experiencing lost/reduced work hours or had an unexpected expense.  Walk in person 1 mile with us or repeat the course to walk 2 or 3 miles to show your support of our cause of serving the poor! You may also walk virtually at any time or place of your choice.  After the walk, we will have breakfast, fellowship and fun.  Check in starts at 8 am.  Walk starts at 8:30 am.  At 9:15 we will have a presentation to learn more about the work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.  Our door prize drawings will start at 9:30 am,  must be present to win.  </p> <p>T-shirts available through August 31st.</p>
