<p> </p> <p><strong><span style="color:rgb( 69 , 99 , 66 )">Join us for the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter Rescue Run on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Lackawanna Heritage Trail in Scranton.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color:rgb( 69 , 99 , 66 )">This event will include a 5K, 10K, and Fun Walk, giving runners, walkers, families, and animal lovers a chance to come together for a great cause.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color:rgb( 69 , 99 , 66 )">All proceeds benefit Griffin Pond Animal Shelter and help provide food, medical care, shelter, and second chances for animals in need.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color:rgb( 69 , 99 , 66 )">Whether you run solo, walk with friends, or form a team, your participation will make a difference for the dogs and cats of Griffin Pond.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color:rgb( 69 , 99 , 66 )">Race day begins at 9:00 AM at the Olive Street Pavilion.
